Antenatal
This is held every Thursday between 1.00 pm and 3.30 pm by appointment. The clinic is run by the community midwife.

Postnatal
Postnatal checks are undertaken by appointment with the doctors. Your postnatal appointment is arranged by the surgery and will be sent to you by post.

Cervical Smear Tests
These are recommended for all women between 25 and 64 years. This is carried out routinely at around three yearly intervals for ladies aged 25-50 years and five yearly from aged 50-64 years. Sometimes, tests need to be done more frequently and in this case you will be notified by letter and asked to make an appointment with either the doctor or the practice nurse.

Child Health Surveillance
Child health surveillance checks are carried out by the doctors on all children registered for this service at 6 weeks. Neonatal checks are carried out by the doctors as well. The 6 week check is carried out at the mother's postnatal appointment time. Other checks are done periodically by the health visitor or by the doctor if requested by the health visitor.

Children's Vaccinations
These are by appointment only with the nurse practitioner on Tuesday afternoons between 3.30 pm and 5.30 pm or if this is not convenient, during normal surgery times by arrangement.

Adult Vaccinations

For travel vaccinations you need to complete a 'Travel Vaccination Enquiry' form which is available from the surgery or can be downloaded by clicking here.
