Urgent cases will be assessed on the day as soon as possible. Patients are seen by appointment only. Consultation times are 8.15 am - 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm - 5.30 pm Monday to Friday. The surgery is open from 8.00 am - 6.30 pm Monday to Friday. Early Morning Extra Clinic: 7.00 am - 8.00 am every Tuesday. Late Evening Extra Clinic: 6.30 pm - 8.30 pm every Wednesday. TELEPHONE

Our practice nurses and nursing assistants are on duty during surgery hours and see patients for routine procedures such as smears, dressings, ear syringing and general advice. They are also available to discuss issues of health promotion. If you need to see the nursing staff, all routine and clinic consultations are by appointment only. Our nurse practitioner works at an advanced level and can prescribe medication. You may not always need to see a doctor for your problem and you may be offered an appointment with nurse Ramsey as an alternative. She can deal with the following problems:

Health promotion is undertaken by the nursing staff opportunistically. They also provide advice on diabetes, hypertension, asthma, HRT, contraception, diet/ lifestyle and angina as well as other chronic conditions.

Vaccinations If routine vaccinations and travel immunisations are required, please enquire at reception. For travel vaccinations you need to complete a 'Travel Vaccination Enquiry' form which is available from the surgery or can be downloaded by clicking here. You will then be advised of the vaccinations you need and an appointment can be made with the practice nurse. Please note, some travel immunisations need to be given at least 4 weeks prior to the start of your holiday to be effective. Phoenix
